Miller Boat Line Ferry for passengers and cars. Not only will you get the schedule and a lot of great info-but you will get the most COUPONS for all of the island.
Jet Express leaves out of Port Clinton and brings you directly into the downtown harbor of Put-in-Bay. Passengers only.
Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center What to do on the island. List of restaurants, motels, hotels, ferrys, taxis, events, attractions. Great info, pictures, and COUPONS.
You can rent a room for the night or week or just decide you want to stay and buy a home on the island. Check with the Chamber of Commerce or visit some of my favorite B & Bs.

Bird's Nest Resort a casual, out of downtown relaxing motel and cottages. Pets are welcome.
The Niagara is a bed and breakfast that you will enjoy and relax. Check it out along with lots of island info.
Camping- South Bass Island State Park. Bring a tent or rent a cabent. Next to the water and many amenities. Also has a great park for the kids and places to have a picnic. Bathrooms and a snack shack available.
Lake Erie Shores and Islands Magazine will give you complete information on how to plan your vacation in the area.
Great Lakes Mariners Magazine will show excellent pictures and tell you about places to go on and around the islands.

WHAT TO DO WHILE ON THE ISLAND-
Perry's Cave and the Butterfly House is a great family place where you can spend most of the day. Visit the Butterfly House, take a tour of Perry's Cave, try the rock-climbing wall, gem mining, miniature golf and the Antique Car Museum.
Heineman's Winery has a wine garden to just stop and have a glass of wine or grape juice. Slow down and enjoy. Take a tour of the world's largest geode-Crystal Cave.
Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial is the 3rd tallest National Monument. Paddle up to the monument for great pictures. Tours and informational movie run daily.
The Aquatic Center is a great place for familes to visit and try some free fishing.
Beer Barrel Saloon has some great entertainment and serves pizza and wings, etc. Check out the entertainment schedule.
